Where's the thread??/

Hi all, looking for the thread that discusses cleaning metal filings from maple stock before staining. I have used my feeble knowledge ,but cant seem to find the right words. Wife sez that is a common problem with me/n.  Don't know about that'n. Anyway, always thankful for the help/ Dave  8) 8)
