I use postinmage.org   upload them to there and copy the link that says "hotlink for forums". Paste that link where you want pics in your thread

I think the best way is to use the built-in function to add photos.   That is,  the "Add image to post" link below the Post reply text box.   It puts the photos up on, I believe, the Imgbb photo hosting site.   For the best results,  you need to edit your photos so that they are no more than 700 pixels on the longest edge.

Mark is correct, using the onboard add image is by far the easiest for most members. No sign-up required but if you want to retain access to the photos once you upload them you can create an account with imgbb.com and use it for ALR and any other use you might have.

Here is a tutorial for using the feature: http://americanlongrifles.org/forum/index.php?topic=43575.0

Oh, forgot to add, again Mark is correct about resizing photos to be no larger than 700 pixels in either height or length but ALR software will modify larger photos but you will not get as nice a photo after its uploaded to ALR as you will if the uploaded photo is 700 pixel in size. Depending on the size of the original the loaded copy may be distorted somewhat. Some load with very little distortion.
