18th C Pistols with shoulder stocks ?

I've seen these before, but wonder if they are 19th C creations or if they were being made in the 18th C .  ?

If you look in DeWitt Baileys British Military Flintlock Rifles he has pictured German rifled pistol-carbines made by August Heinrich Huhnstock ca.1776. So the certainly existed. Dont know how common though.

Pistols with detachable shoulder stocks go all the back to at least the 17th century.

Definitely 18th c or even earlier.  Here is one I made a while ago, not really useful, but interesting.  Fun to make!
