Go to the interlibrary loan service and look for the annuals done by the Penn. Historical society for years 1940 to 1945 (this is my best memory of the year sources, I am thinking it is like '42 and maybe '44?). These have common patterns reproduced in them as well as some good info on the Landis museum's roots, flintlock making, an a few pics of chunk guns if memory is correct.
The folk patterns should go very well with your box project.
As a side the men pictured (Landis) are my great uncles. I use this as my excuse to the wife for the FL interest (obsession?)...it is genetic!
One more wondering...Will this then be a "Pennsylvania" Dutch Oven box???
