Not a leather worker

As the title says I am not a leather worker but was in need of a new bag for a rifle I started yesterday. Been working on it it the evenings and finished last night. I still need to make a bullet block and other accoutrements for it. I had just enough scrap leather laying around to do it. The horn came from Cory Joe Stewart in a trade awhile back. Happy New Year

Aj, I have a family connection to Simon Kenton and am going to make a rifle of what could have been, the rifle that Butler gave to Kenton. It is goin to have a lot of F. Klette influence.

I disagree with your summation of your work...
You may not be a leather worker by trade, but your work leaves my crude attempts in the dirt.
I find that bag to be very nice. You should be proud to carry and display it.

Don't understate yourself. Your bag is as good in its own right as anyone's. If you enjoy working with leather, Learn more about it and your skills will grow. Your work shows some talent, Monsoor Cobbler, so keep it going.

Like some of the other have said, for "not a leather worker", that's one nice bag!! Nice horn too. Together they make for a beautiful rig.
