Day Horn completed

I've moved this little horn blank around in my shop for years and decided to finally make something of it. It's a bit larger (5" length) than I like for a priming horn and too small for a typical strap type powder horn, so let's just call it a day horn.

That's a very nice horn. A "day horn" doesn't have to hold much powder to be useful in the hunting woods.

Thanks for the compliments.
I haven't filled it to see how much it will hold. It's about 5" overall length. About 1.5" diameter on the butt end. It will surely hold more powder than I've ever shot on a day hunt. Maybe it's more like a "month" horn.

Don’t know how I missed this one...that’s a perfect little skwerl huntin’ horn...just slip it in your overalls pocket and go! Nice job!

Very nice priming style horn. The old timers used these to carry 4fffg for priming in the field.
