Pouch for a friend
« on: April 18, 2019, 11:31:38 PM »
A friend came by with some old leather that he had and wanted to know if i could make him a pouch.
I just hate soft leather but he’s a good friend so here it is. He wanted simple and i had just enough for the pouch.

That's a very nice pouch.  It's pretty deep; did he want it deeper than wide?

New age ,we tend to bring more than is necessary i think he wants to put is sandwiched or is gloves.
The important thing he’s happy with it.

Beautifully crafted, Denis. Like your friend, I hate to see anything go to waste...I’m sure many old-timers made bags out of whatever materials they had available. I’m also sure he will cherish it!

Well done, I like a bag I can get my fat hand into and don't have to dump it out to find something and Yes, if I could get the Kitchen sink in there I probably would! Bags made from old riding boot tops have always held a fascination for me. Especially the two toned ones, "Waste not want not".

Thanks Tim.
This is my last pouch till fall, now it’s time to search for some material for more pouches.
My friend is a retired game warden and i added a patch that i was able to get out of him.
