Another parts rifle

Been working on this for myself off and on for about a year or so. I have it in shooting order now and can't decide to carve or leave it alone. I'm planning on taking it hog hunting soon if the hogs cooperate. It has a TOW Tulle lock with Chambers inards and an Ed Rayle .54 barrel 43" long. The side plate is a copy of a type G trade gun side plate I seen in a book.

Carve it! Even if it is only incised carving...that will lead to relief carving, though, he he he!

Art is not an object. It is the excitement inspired by the object.

It appears to have drawn it’s own carving designs on it, so you must obey the rifle’s wishes and carve it!

Brian, I vote for carving too. And a little bit of wire inlay...

Carved or not, it's going to be a nice one.

It's already a very nice rifle; carving would make it truly special.
