Hello Gents (ladies too),
I am working on my second rifle. The stock has moderate curl and I am getting closer to final finishing. I notice as the stock sits while I work , the areas that sit a bit the curl becomes more evident as the wood oxidizes. I was wondering if I shouldn't let the rifle age a couple weeks after final smoothing it up? You think the curl will stand out more if I let it oxidize a bit? Or just move forward and let the Aquafortis do it's magic by itself? Has anyone tried this?
