Spiral Horn
« on: September 29, 2019, 04:07:34 AM »
This small powder horn is 9 3/8 inches on the outside curve. It is 5 ¾ inches at its greatest circumference. It is to be carried in a pouch or pocket. The body of the horn is carved in a spiral manner consisting of eight individual spirals. Each spiral circles the circumference of the horn two times. The spirals continue onto the cherry base plug. No dye was applied. A stopper will eventually be turned for this little horn. Thanks for looking.

I completely agree.

This part especially for me, ", prolific starter, paltry finisher." describes my whole life.

Very well done Curtis.  You may have to change your signatures' self-proclamations though.  Paltry finisher no longer applies, lol.

In my short life I've seen a pregnant woman climb a pine tree, a house cat put a whoopin' on a pit bull, a lizard walk on water, a whitetail deer steal a cookie from the hand of a toddler, a lawyer with his hands in his own pockets, a young crow swallow a baby spoon and a red fox vs kitty cat staring match.  But in all that time I have NEVER seen anything like that there spiral horn.
