help identifying maker of percussion lock

I have a percussion lock stamped on the inside with GTC.  Just need to know who made this.  thanks  Steg49

Griffith Tool Co.

They made a J&S Hawken style lock and hooked breech & tang.

Thanks that is what I wanted to see.  I thought it was a Griffith but just wanted to make sure.  steg49

They seem to be solid locks. The Hawken Shop still carries these if parts are needed. God Bless, Marc

These were and are good locks. I told the Griffiths what kind of spring steel I used and where
to buy it.They said they had one of my Hawken locks to study and wanted to try to copy it.
I told them that was OK with me. This was at Friendship years ago.
