« on: October 18, 2019, 12:15:22 AM »
Just bought an old rifle... :-\ Nice walnut stock. it has a Tapered Barrel 1" to 3/4" x 35" long its roughly .440 but  :o No rifling left..zero.. worth getting rebored? needs other work to but it has potential. So is it worth it and who does it?

If he doesn't answer leave him a message.  He will call you back.

Only being 3/4” at the muzzle, and already being .45 caliber, and an antique barrel, might mean you are already at the maximum caliber. Might have to have it either just cleaned up, and left smooth, or have a liner made for a smaller caliber.
