Help with rifle style?

I traded for a .40 caliber flintlock longrifle. I like the style, and it's my first flintlock. I wasn't really trying for a particular period, but this rifle has the lines I like. I thought it was similar to a Southern Mountain rifle and is advertised as a Carolina rifle.
There have been others on another board who have told me it is more similar to a Leman rifle. It really doesn't matter but I am curious what style it is- if it is actually one style at all. Either way I will be happy with it.

Here's a link to the ad.

If you like it, that's all that counts.  It appears to be a loose rendition, that lacks some attributes, but has others.  The shorter barrel, trigger guard, and lock panel, tend to make it look more like a Leman, than a Carolina gun, which is too vague a description.  Without a tie to a maker, or particular region in the Carolinas, it really can't even be considered one.  I'd just call it in the style of a Southern rifle.  It's a good starting point for you to learn from.

I am assuming this rifle originally came from TVM. It has the makers name on the top of the barrel- Jack Garner.
 Does this help?
