Very nice indeed.  I'm getting really hooked on those Tenn rifles.

Birddog,

There are rifles that are nice to look at but this rifle is really, really nice to look at.  It is such an eye catcher, and overall....beautiful!  Nice work!  I like the way the iron hardware blends with the overall look of the stock.  Again...nice work!

Birddog,

I must say I really appreciate and admire your work.  You certainly know how to create an outstanding finish on a rifle!

Thank you, I appreciate the compliments.  Working on another one similar now & debating on how to do the tang on it. Really like that over-the-come part.

Thanks Jim.  I thought I would bring it.  Working on another one as well that will be close to done & it is a TN over-the-comb tang as well, will bring it too if I get it done.

BirdDog

Sorry to congratulate you so slowly. It has just taken me a while to find both socks after they were blown off by viewing this tremendous example of your workmanship!

Beautiful finish and a joy to behold. You should be very well pleased and very proud of the fruit of your labor :)

IMHO this is a very fine addition to the body of work being done by the current builders. Thank you sincerely for sharing it with us.

Glad to hear it's coming to CLA with you.  I saw the gun in GunMakers Hall, but one look isn't enough.  The color contrast you get in the curl is impressive.

See you at CLA,
Larry

I am not sure cause I have CRS & didn't mark it.  But I think that came from Pecatonica.  Reason I said that is I have only ever seen 1 stock at their booth at Friendship that really grabbed me, and I think that was the same stock.   I went into the booth 3-4 times that day & every time my eyes went straight  to that stock, so I bought it.  I have had it for 4-5 years.
