An Eister for my son
« on: March 07, 2020, 08:06:08 PM »
Using information and photos acquired from the original rifle due to the kindness of Jen Kindig, I made this rifle for my son.  It has a 50 caliber Rice octagon to round 44" barrel, Chambers large Siler lock, buttplate from Jen Goehring and triggerguard from R. E. Davis.  I made the rest.  My family has history with the township where Eister lived and worked, and I have always admired his rifles.

Great job Barry... from one who shares your appreciation and fascination with Geo. Eister. ;)
