Lots of variables depending what you are allowed to import. Barrels, locks and triggers must be bought. Everything else can be made.  Let us know more.

Here in Brazil the paperwork for purchase of weapons is great. For manufacturing is not permitted without permission from the government. But if the gun does not work is allowed, or do as decorative piece.

My father manufactured pieces of weapons for a long time and today, even some repair in our workshop. However muzzleloaders completely leaves of our knowledge.

Alexandre -- Regarding the "how-to" aspect of your question, I would suggest you order one of the "Building Muzzleloaders" DVDs offered by Track of the Wolf.com. They are very informative. - paul

Welcome Alexandre. Your English is fine. Your command of the English language is certainly is better than my command of Portuguese and Spanish.

Everything on a ML gun can be made, even barrels, locks and triggers. There is a tutorial on making single phase set triggers in the tutorial section of this forum. More informaiton on making various parts can be found in the archives of the old board.

Moreover, instructions for making both set triggers and plain triggers are illustrated in  the books, "The gunsmith of Grenville County" and "Recreating the American Longrifle".

Making locks from scratch  can be problematic if one does not understand the proper relationships of the parts and how they work together, but locks can be made without too much difficulty by using a little creative manipulation of readily available items. Frizzens and sears can be made of angle iron, for example.

Barrels can be forged, or drilled with a gun drill, if one has the equipment to do that kind of work.

Some basic information on gun locks can be found at these links;

http://www.ctmuzzleloaders.com/ctml_experiments/mantonlock/mantonlock.html

Information on tools and assorted items of interest can be seen at this link;
http://www.hootalrifleshop.org/index.htm

As always, please be careful to conform to the laws of Brazil when making your decorative piece.

God bless

Alexandre, please be careful with your laws. This is site not private. I do not know how hard your police are, so I am concerned for your safety.

can you get black gunpowder? This is essential. If you use any other type you will create a bomb instead of a gun.

Our country is very contradictory. is easily bought: Gunpowder, bulet and cartridges in the fairs in my city. I live in the northeast of the country, it is very difficult to control the sale of these products here. It is common to have a firearm in farms, both for protection and for hunting. But is illegal.
