If your board & want something to look at.
« on: March 25, 2020, 02:44:24 AM »
I was looking for a certain  picture  the other day and  dug  through these. Most have been posted here over the last ten years or so. I hope they are new to some of our members.  I just thought things were a little slow here and they might be a break from the news of the day.

Even though they continue to age, they never get old (to look at) if you know what I mean.  thanks for posting some great rifles.

Appreciate you sharing these. I know there was a discussion about the New England fowler some time ago, did you ever figure out if it was from Rhode Island?

Eye candy for sure.  Love them all.  The New England piece particularly.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Thanks everyone . The New England fowler appears to be by the same maker as N.E.19 in Tom Grinslade's book" Flintlock Fowlers" . J V Puleo  felt that fowler may hve been made in   Rhode Island. If he see's this maybe he might have more info.

The lock is a replacement. It was on it when I got it.

Whether in RI or wherever, that guy had an eye for really funky brassware!  I love it.

Maybe he was the New England Peter Angstadt!  That's a great gun.  Thanks for posting it.
