May I ask if we are allowed to discuss the Hall Rifle?
« on: November 27, 2021, 05:30:27 AM »
Greetings,

New to the forums and I am having a slight hard time interpreting the rules.

Are we allowed to discuss the 1819 Hall Rifle in flintlock?

I wanted to post a WTB ad (I actually did but re-read the rules) and I am not sure if this is allowed.

Sorry for my brain @$#%.

Thanks!
Be well :)

Best Regards,
Kevin H.

Kevin,

Welcome to the ALR!

I'm pretty sure that the forum posts are limited to side lock muzzleloaders.

There are a great many interesting subjects discussed on the ALR hopefully you'll find something of interest to you.

Hi Kevin,

First, welcome to ALR.

I'm sorry, but the Hall rifle does not meet ALR rules of being a side-lock muzzleloader. Yes, it is flint but it's not considered a sidelock, so they are not allowed on ALR.
