Lower forestock length

Building a youth Lancaster style flint for grand kids length of pull is 12-1/2 barrel length is 33"
13/16  is there a formula for this or do you just go by eye I have it at 11 inches now
Any advice appreciated

On my grandchildren’s youth trade gun the lower forestock length is 11 inches.  The gun has a 32 inch custom .45 smoothbore barrel. BJH
