Here it is. I did not go for perfect this time. Hopefully the brass will age better. This one has the BC plum brown then boiled finish. I could not bring myself to wear the barrel finish, yet.

It is a simple cam over the spring design. The indicated cut is to insert a thumbnail.
The suggested spring used space in the storage area of the box so I did it my way instead.

Indeed a very nice build. I like to use that method on the patchbox spring also. Makes more room for stuff ,like a snickers bar, in the box. Have a great day my friends. Dave F
