More shop time here - slow but...... slow - - the clam shell is roughed in - I will put silver wire on either side of the shell up to the breach, and it will end in the thumb piece - I'll draw it up this weekend - wanted to have some silver in the wrist, the side and the stock, so instead of carving between the tang and the side pieces, I opened the area up for some decorative silver.  The shell is a mixture of full "half round" and pointed shells - and has a deeper tang space than on most examples - but wanted to extend the wrist without crowding the tang. If you look at the wood with the lighting at an angle, you can see where I need to continue to smooth the surfaces - again, roughed in -
