Our gongs used for both rifle and smoothbore at the 100 yard and 100 meter (109yds) ranges, run from the size of a broadside strutting turkey, to buckets about 14" in diameter to a
bunny rabbit - about the size of a snowshoe hare sitting on his haunches facing you, to a heart shape that is about 12-13" wide at the largest.  Except for the bunny, not very difficult, but
I still manage to miss them with the rifles, yet oft times hit them with the smoothbore. IT happens.
We have no 150yard targets on our trail.
At the BC Rendezvous held at Hefley Creek, gongs made of saw blades to gas cylinders may be longer range targets for both rifles and smoothbores.
