Bowie, dagger, and sword
« on: September 12, 2020, 10:46:37 PM »
Bowie with German silver and curly maple capped with buffalo horn and a dagger fitted in brass and curly hickory.

Here is a hunt sword and the integral bolster knife with buffalo scales to fit the snake sheath by my good and talented friend Marc Hamel.

Nice work Robert, I am especially interested in the hilt on the sword.

Great work Robert.  All of them look super, especially that beautiful sword.  I can see it in use by William Washington in SC in 1780.   I like the guard a lot.

I am glad to see you like the snake sheath.  I think it looks better on that one than the one I made it for.

When the events start back you, you and Walter are going to have one amazing stock of knives to sell.

Best wishes, and God Bless,   Marc

Thank you everyone that’s my first attempt at a sword. The sword has a very pretty curl on the handle I liked the way it almost follows a spiral around it.
