Here is is, Mike. Rotate the bl. every 10 seconds or so to keep the 'champher' true.
Nicely rounded into the bore is what you are looking for. This is the proper angles for moving metal (the ball's metal with patch, into the grooves)
Some folks seem to have success with looser loads - I haven't. I am sure this type of crown and loading have helped me win at rendezvous as well
as here on the postal matches. I'm 70 yrs. old and don't shoot anywhere near as well as I used to, but still hold my own. I am sure my loading & muzzle
finishing practices have helped me to maintain this level of proficiency. Taylor's too.
