Looking for any information on a builder "J Spangle". Clearly engraved on a nicely done half stock.

We need to see the gun to determine which Spangle it was made by. Could be Jacob Spangle of PA, or possibly Joshua Spangle of IN. If engraved rather than stamped, I'd think maybe the PA gunsmith. Shelby Gallien

I don't have the rifle here to photograph but the signature is definitely engraved. If Pennsylvania do you know where?
