gonna try to build a schimmel (barn rifle) thought i'd try to build a homemade t/g and thimbles i hope these are good enough. thimles are 5/16," ain't no forger, all joints are pinned and silver soldered

Yip,
These pieces look fine and they will work well. I am a professional blacksmith and I make a great many things from metal. Whenever I make small things, like trigger guards, I like to make two or three and keep the one I like best.
