Rifle Shoppe Ferguson Rifle assembly.
« on: December 02, 2020, 01:48:07 AM »
Today, I talked to someone who purchased a Ferguson rifle parts set from the Rifle Shoppe. He is looking for someone to build the rifle for him. I don't know anyone around here who wants to tackle a project like that. Do any of you have experience building a Ferguson or know a person that I can put him in contact with to have the rifle built? If I placed this under the wrong discussion, please let me know where I should post it.
Thank You

Check with Dave Person.  The best there is for that type of build.

Oi Vey! That's quite an undertaking. Yes - but what a special rifle to end up with!!!
Here's one Taylor built a bunch of years ago - the only pictures I have of it.

I am in the same boat. I have a Rifle Shoppe Ferguson kit that I need built. I would prefer someone who has already done it. Not looking for a fine sporting version, just an ordnance rifle.

The Barrel/breech assembly are done and the lock has been built but even so this looks like a lot of work to me. I certainly wouldn't attempt it.
