Neee sewing advice on a 1760s civilian frock coat pleats

This is like a regimental coat. I’m dummying up a muslin prototype to get my mistakes out of the way. Trying to make sure I fold and set the pleated “skirt” at the back properly.  (Go ahead, I put it out there!).

Anyone have experience and might be willing to consult?

Thanks, Greg. I’ve done pleats before, but this is another level. I tabled it for a bit and have started on breeches.
