Barrel maker
« on: January 31, 2021, 10:48:29 AM »
Hey y'all. Due to health and family issues I've been away for a while. About 2 years ago I got the contact info on a custom barrel maker. I believe he was in the Carolinas. I talked to him then my world turned upside down. I'm looking for a fast twist bullet barrel that I can interchange with my slow twist. He said he could do it but I can't find his info. Can anyone help me? Thanks, SP

Probably Rayl. Don't have his contact info as his barrels are so !@*%&@ hard I can't draw file them and survive the experience.

No it wasn't Mr Rayl. I was unaware he made fast twist barrels. Learn something every day!

Jim Chambers flintlocks also runs (or shows) an LLC called Buckeye Barrels on its website in NC.  But I believe this is just a distributor for others folks barrels (Rice, long Hammock, etc).

FCI Barrels in KY (Charlie Burton) can also make what you desire.  His contact info is online.

I'll second F.C.I. Barrels or Mr. Hoyt. I like the fact when you
get a barrel from Charlie it is finished. With no tool marks on them... Flawless workmanship.
