Here are a few knives I made a couple months ago - all were for customers, just sharing pictures!
This first one was a "retrofit" - My customer had a really nice pouch and horn set that when purchased had a modern style knife in the sheath. I tried to add some details that would help it harmonize with the set yet still stand alone. The handle is black ash burl
This one is a half tang knife for a new deer hunter. The handle is made of briar burl - his grandfather had made pipes and the family still has pieces of the material. Sort of boucheron inspired, but sort of not. The handle shaping on this and the previous knife is somewhat similar to one I made for gunmaker Brad Emig a while back.
Third one - a hunting knife with elk antler handle , made for a relative who killed her first elk last year.
