Antique Single Barrel Shotgun

Picked it up for a song! The bore is near mint, the lock has been changed at some point, and the hammer is not correct. It appears to have been numbered like it was in a musuem or something?   I think the breech needs to be reset on it, but it might end up being a shooter. Thoughts

With a little bit of work, you'll have it shooting in no time.
That number might very well be the owners SS Number.  Great find.
