Arnie Dowd R.I.P.

Longtime longrifle collector Arnie Dowd past away on Monday of this week.  I expect he has joined his lovely wife Natalie in heaven.  Arnie was a good friend and great gentleman. Losing him and Wayne Elliott in the same year is a huge blow to our hobby.  Arnie collected mostly Southern longrifles and was a great researcher.

That's two major and unexpected losses of true gentlemen in our great hobby of antique American firearms collecting. Those of us who love the "southern" rifles will miss them tremendously.  Shelby Gallien

Yes we as a group have lost two great men and fellow collectors, RIP brothers.
