William Antes Inspired Pistol

This pistol was inspired by a pistol signed by William Antes and featured in the book Moravian Gun Making of The American Revolution.  I was drawn to the folksy simplicity and unique architecture.  The author's of the book speculate that it might have been made for a client who could not afford a fancier pistol.  I also borrowed some elements for a fowler that is attributed to Antes featured in the same book, mainly in regards to the style of the front sight and the carving pattern.
