I came across this today at an event. Not sure that the French attribution is correct, the lock might give it away but I am not an expert. For scale you can use the pushpin at the top of the pic. I am hoping to get a closer look at this and a couple others which I will post. It is beautifully carved at the tang.  I thought it was pretty nifty. Thoughts?

Not very big Bob, the lock is only 2-2 1/2 inches long.  The whole pistol would fit in your palm.

That IS small.I would say that lock was made by a watchmaker as were some of the finer and complex
set triggers of old Europe.

Have not seen it, it was in a case. Hope to get a better look when they are not busy with visitors.

It looks very similar to a French pocket pistol I have.  They are the cutest 'lil buggers!
