Wonderful work, Runar.  But you should have used a part from a Volvo so the steel would be more acclimated to your beautiful winters.

Not really knowing the history of them, I've been wondering if this is among the first of the "back-action" locks.

Hi all! And thank you Craig Wilcox, hmm yes maby I should have use parts from a Volvo Amason ;)The triggergard made from 4 parts silversolder together!

To my eye that muzzle cap is one of the most complicated parts of the build. Great workmanship and great thread - thanks for posting Runastav ;) 8).

Hi all! Done, photo of finishing produkt I use now aday and the pistol is now together with my original M/1843/58 naval rifle ;)

Runar, I think you ae ready for the firing range!  And you will have the best-looking, most historical, firearms that are present.

Runar, great build! I really like your darker version, but that's probably due to my American exposure. I recognize most of your finishing chemicals. What is Akta Bets?

Hi All and thank you! Not English, it is water stain powder black walnut from HERDINS. The pistol is now tested, and yes it was nice to shoot ;)My buddy Alf J shoot hole in hole at 25meter.
