Scraper question.

I think I saw someone mention making curled scrapers out of some type of nails on here before. If anyone knows anything how to do this I am interested in making some for a build I'm doing. I'd like to know the process and maybe the best types of nails to use. I appreciate any help. Thank you.

Concrete nails, heat them to anneal, heat them red pound them flat, grind to shape, sharpen, heat to bend the angle, heat and quench to harden.

Eric,
What size of concrete nails do you recommend? I have some small ones but looks like you need to have larger ones than I have. Thanks.

Don't know about the size, I just grabbed a box off the shelf at Lowe's, we always called then cut nails. There are round concrete nails as well but that is not what I use.
My nails are 2 1/2" long and 7/16" wide at the head.
