One old man with a sore back talking with young Bob Hill ;D I suspect Marc is younger than both of us :)

Bob has been doing his longrifle building display at the NC State Fair far longer than I have been attending it. I always enjoy stopping by for a chat. Bob always has a good number of his great looking southern longrifles hanging behind his work bench. Good to see him educating the public on the longrifle culture.

Senior citizens on display at the state fair....does that seem right?  At least they found a couple dapper looking fellows for the display. ;)

Bob and Marc, my son and I stopped by the Village of Yesteryear this weekend at the NC State Fair.  A lady behind a table had some items on display, including a flintlock pistol you built, Bob.   She said that you had opted to skip the fair this year.   

I was hoping to see you and Marc, but perhaps next year will be less Covidian.   ;)

Sorry to have to miss the fair this year. We have many fine friends we have met there over the years. I am going through chemo at this time and my doctor recommended I avoid large crowds since my immunity will be challenged. I have been blessed and have not been ill from the chemo. Staying positive my friends. See y’all next year at the fair if not before.
