Need help with this rifle. No name or initials on barrell. Its not mine and I haven't seen this rifle in 20 years and my father took these photo's for me this week. I would like to find out where it probably came from if I can. It was collected
in Kentucky years ago.

Got to be late, upper E. Tennessee looks to me. Beyond that, I will defer to the more knowledgeable on here.

That is a very nice looking rifle. I just love that long - long tang. I agree that it is an east Tennessee gun. I'm sure many people on this site will be eager to help you with the rifle. Regards

I agree, East Tennessee or close thereto. Up in the hills, the makers sometimes didn't pay attention to what side of the state line they were on.
