Example of kids guns

Big Wayne build these to for my boys when they were still boys. Both had shot there first deer with the short one by the time they were 6 years old. Went on to win several state champions with em. Now they shoot big boy guns…. Happens fast!

Here is the gun I made up for our youth group in our club.  It shoots 30 grain air rifle slugs with 5 grains of 4f.  Dime sized groups at 25 yards.  Made from an old .22 LR barrel

Getting back to Austin's work- Great kid's rifles!!! Wish I had a gun like either of those beauties when I was a boy!

It makes all the difference when someone has a good dependable gun to start out with. Stoner did a great job on those he’s about to finish. My hat is off to him for all he does for the youth and shooting in general.

I made this one some years ago for my granddaughter Emeline.  It has a .40 Rice barrel about 31 inches long and a small Siler from Jim Chambers. I had a time finding a small enough trigger guard.  This one can be recognized as a narrowed Harpers Ferry rifle guard/.  It is very plain, but that is in keeping with my lack of talent.  Oh yes 5 1/2 pounds.

Way to go Fyrstyk.  That's a good looking gun and fun to shoot, I'll bet.  Good for you and Wayne, and Steve, and Frogwalking, and all the others getting kids out to shoot these guns we love.  They will keep this going when we're all gone.

Austin didn't do the work.  Wayne did the work on the rifles for Austin's boys.
