« on: February 24, 2022, 02:54:49 PM »
A very happy birthday to the gentleman whose "Gunsmith of Williamsburg" (1969) remains a classic more than fifty years later.

I'll very happily wish Wallace a happy birthday!  First, though, I have to figure out something about which we can argue...

 ;D ;D

Here's to many more!  (Birthdays, not arguments)

Guys PLEASE do not post the Gunsmith of Colonial Williamsburg. It is protected under copyright laws. Rights to this video belong to Colonial Williamsburg, they still sell this video. I know you can get it for free off the internet but it's a violation of of copyright law.

A Happy belated Eightieth to You, Wallace!

Your gun studies and craftsmanship are well known and respected by so many of us in this wide fraternity.
I dare say that most don’t know of your passions for and great knowledge of antique British china, archaic Indian artifacts, sculpting beautiful human forms in stone and gold, Chinese antiquities, African ironwork, cabinet making, carving intricate full-sized hardwood patterns for cast-iron firebacks to go into colonial fireplaces and many other areas of mind and skill exercises, I’m sure. We are honored to have such a Noble man in our midst. Thank you for bringing so much to enrich us in so many ways.

Gratefully,

Happy belated birthday!

Can’t imagine another individual who has rekindled and inspired more people in the pursuit of this pastime.

Thanks,
