Sealing a Horn Mug

Any suggestions for sealing the inside of a buffalo horn that would be used as a mug for beer and other medicinal fluids. I was not sure how epoxy would get along with beverages of choice.

I think Brewers pitch or bees wax is the go to.

BW is used on water barrels & wooden drinking cups. Nice thing about BW, it is easily replenished.

My leather mug uses brewers pitch.
I have some food grade epoxy for the wooden mugs I make and it works great.
