Nicely done Jeff...I have a love affair with Lehigh rifles (own two).  Have you shot it yet?  Is there enough drop at the comb so that you don't get whacked in the cheek bone?

I hope so… No it hasn’t been shot yet, but I got the pattern from Allen Martin so I’m trusting in his expertise.
Anyway it’s only a .40 cal so the recoil shouldn’t be too severe.
I understand your love for the Lehighs.  I think they definitely have the most graceful architecture of all the schools.

J.
If you got the Rupp pattern from Al, and you kept the comb thin, you won’t have any trouble.
He’s a great Lehigh resource for many of us, and a great teacher.
I asked Allen one time, How do you know how much wood to take off?, He said take of wood till you’re scared, then take off a little more.

We call Allen, THE LEHIGH JEDI!
In His grip,

That is a fine looking rifle Jeff!  Nice, crisp carving to boot.  You really made this one shine!
