Bucks County Toeplate for release

The Pbox release for Bucks County LRs was sorta "secret" when I first started to build BC LR.s. But one builder offered info and I was off and running and owe him a lot of gratitude. Shown below is a BC toeplate w/ an added plate surrounding the "mushroom" headed release. This is the first and last surrounding plate I used....normally just the "mushroom" headed toeplate is used. Using a surrounding plate is a little time consuming ....the gapless "fit" of the 2 items requires more time. ....but I kinda liked it. Also shown below is the internals of the release....the opener spring and location came from Taylor Sapergia and eliminates a spring on the floor of the Pbox cavity. ....Fred

That's cool. Taylor is good with that "hidden" or non apparent opening systems.

That’s a very tight fit on that toe plate / release, I can’t see any gap anywhere
