My hats off to you Wayne.  That is no small undertaking, not only the builds (which anyone would be proud to own), but also what it takes to get shooting, powder, balls, etc..
My thanks to you and the others involved for promoting our sport, our history, and our kids.

Way to go Wayne.  I really commend you for all you do for the sport but for the kids especially.
You don’t just dream big, you get things done.  Those kids will treasure these days from now on.

Wayne,
Wish I could have been there to see the kids first shots.
Thanks for asking me to complete one of the Chambers kits.
It was an honor and a pleasure.

Keep it up,
Jeff

Great Job Wayne, Austin, and Jeff! Are the 3 guns enough or do you have plans to make more?

Yes 2 more for sure. I just don’t know when it’s going to happen. Stay tuned.

Do you need anything to help get these projects going? If the admin allows it, you could post an ad in the for sale section accepting donations, to keep it in the spotlight. There is a lot of enthusiasm here and you'd raise the funding in no time I'd imagine.

Well done Wayne, Austin, and Jeff!!

I think there is more to it than just getting those kids shooting.  They are shooting and enjoying guns that really do represent our past and history and that were hand made.  Hand made is something many younger people have no appreciation for or experience with.  One of the remarkable looks and comments I've experienced over the years is the awe and surprise young people show when they see what can be done by hand skill.  It can greatly widen their imaginations about what they can do.

Nailman, the guy i have been selling all the guns for lately is donating a bunch of shooting supplies. I'll get up to his place and pick it all up  before I see Wayne again in August.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?
