A dagger and an integral bolster
« on: June 23, 2022, 05:30:57 PM »
Here are two knives that I wanted to make and have finally made it around to getting them finished one being a dagger with a brass crossguard and pewter bolster. The second is a small integral bolster knife with a curly maple handle and sterling silver end cap.

Cool martial looking dagger.  Almost Medieval looking in nature.  I really like the maple handled integral bolster little knife.  It would make a super patch and general use knife.  Your finishes on it are lovely.  Great job sir.   God Bless,  Marc

Looking great! Particularly like the dagger. First knife I ever forged was a 10" dagger from 5160. Still have it.
Both knives look great! --JB

Daggers are always fun to make and thank you, that bolster took a lot of filing to make that molding.

The integral bolster arrived here today. The pictures do not do the craftsmanship justice.  Perfectly balanced and razor sharp......This is a real beauty.
