My first build
« on: July 31, 2022, 06:08:11 PM »
So last year I decided to try my hand at building. I decided to go with the Jim Chambers New England Fowler in .12ga. over all an enjoyable experience. My work is definitely a mature at best but I feel like I have learned alot through the process and enjoyed it. There are are gaps and mistakes but I still enjoy the gun itself.i want to thank everyone on here for their help with my many questions. I hope to continue to build and improve my skills.

So what are you building next?

Thinking of either a .50 York for my son. Or a .62 Virginia for myself. Kinda partial to big bores.

Congratulations on the completion of #1. Looks good, it should be fun shooting and hunting with it. It is always more enjoyable to use my own it seems.

You did a very nice job on this first gun. You should be very proud of it!
