NP J.B. As to frosted balls, I cranked up the lead pot yesterday, the one with pure lead (I thought) & the first 2 balls came out like WW bullets, all frosted.
I had to pour that melt into a can and start over again with pure lead- 20 pounds of it. Somehow, I got antimony into my pure lead pot and ruined about 8 pounds of pure lead.
Well, not ruined as it will work in the 1876 rifle.
After casting 50 balls for the .69, I stopped. That used up 3.44 pounds of lead. (mathematically figured with a pocket brain)
