A Request for Information - Jacob Sees

As most of you know I'm constrained by our policy not to divulge information beyond what's already in the public domain. In other words I can't share owner information and can only post photos for which we have permission.
The following request was sent to me and I'm posting it for the general readership. I would appreciate any help that fellow members might be willing to share.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Nord: Can you tell me about Lancaster rifle maker, Jacob Sees? Years born & died? Is it possible to see a photo of his initials "J.S." on the rifle pictured at: "Topic: Jacob Sees 090926-1" ? I am hoping to track down a photo of his initials on a rifle he made. I just registered with the Forum because of this rifle. My email is jyminsf@yahoo.com

Sam Dyke listed Jacob Sees, Elizabeth Twp., Lancaster County, PA, taxed from 1800-1813. If Sam and Mary said this was so, I'd take it to the bank without too much concern. From my little corner of the world, these guns are rare. JWH

We were able to obtain pictures of the barrel signature and it has been added to the Museum display.
