Another Joel Ferree

Well I'll be...there is another fully signed Joel Ferree rifle out there.  Thanks to the ongoing Rock Ford exhibit and the accompanying book it is now clear that RCA 76, which for the past 40+ years has simply been noted as a "J. Ferree" is actually signed Joel Ferree.  See the previous threads about the "newly discovered" Joel Ferree John Robbins revived and compare that to RCA 76 and the photos in the Rock Ford book.  They're adorned very differently but overall are very similar rifles and signed identically and in the exact same position just forward of the lock (the bottom photo is RCA 76).

Well that's certainly his signature, and near identical to the one on your gun!
In the Rock Ford book, they have it as fully signed, where all the other books just say J. Ferree.
Shouldn't be any trouble now deafferenting between Joel and Jacob any longer.
