I have a French trade/Boucheron knife made by Ben Hoffman (he has several axes for sale currently on his website, Hoffman Reproductions), which is very nice. Simeon England makes some beautiful stuff but I don’t know what his waitlist looks like or if he’s currently still making/taking orders. There’s many others but those two stick out in my mind.
My belt axe is an original English boarding axe, probably made in the earlier part of the 19th century, later than period I’m interested in but I don’t know if the pattern is noticeably different than an axe from the mid-late 18th century, I’m no expert on cold weapons. It has a somewhat pronounced curve on the rear spike, as I’ve seen on original boarding axes dated from 1790ish, 1830ish and between. A couple of earlier English boarding axes, dated mid-18th century seem to have a flat underside to the rear rather than a curve. I should research more, I admit. The Fort Meigs belt axe is a good example but also probably made later than mid-late 18th century to my understanding, recovered at a War of 1812 site. but again, I don’t know how much the patterns changed. It’s a pretty light axe.
There’s a whole world of research on the different patterns of axes that were imported where and by whom, so with a bit of background knowledge it wouldn’t be hard to justify just about whatever type of axe you wanted, within the bounds of reason of course!
